If Life Were Any Better I Would Be Two People, And I Could Be!

I have been thinking about this for some time now and figured since it was the first day, of the last quarter of the year, this would be a good day to become a blogger.

Over the last 10 years my company has earned over 5 million dollars doing what I have always done. Marketing! After those ten years what I truly have to show for it is 100 extra pounds. That equals approximately $50K per pound.

All is not lost, no pun intended. The money has been re-invested in creating what I believe to be the most incredible Customer Relationship Management System in the world. People see me as the owner of a website company who does some other stuff. I personally see myself as an e-marketing guy for people who don't have time to do it for themselves, who builds websites.

Over the coming months and years I am going to make it my responsibility to help you get easy business the easiest proven way: “referrals by past and existing clients and your sphere of influence.”

I hear day in and day out about Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and over the past 10 years my opinion has never changed. If you need to be at the Top of Google, it is easy; pay them, I do! I do this because some people still believe you have to scream at the top of your lungs to get people to listen and to prove my point, when it comes to advertising nothing is free.

Why are your “clients” having to search for you anyway?

Maybe it is because you are not keeping in touch with them on a regular basis?

Not giving them the information they want or need?

Have you ever even asked them what they expect from you after you have completed a transaction with them?
There is a very good chance you could keep in touch, exceed their expectations, get the referrals you deserve from doing a good job and never have to worry about them looking for you on Google again.

The CRTC has taken away smoking in bars, discounted drinks during happy hour, removed the right for children to have respect for their elders, educators, clergy and law enforcement agents and now I may not even be able to call my Mom to ask her over for dinner because she is on "The National DO-NOT-CALL List". The CRTC may not be to blame for all of this, most of it, but the same people who decide what is decent to put on Radio and Television now have the right to tell me who I can call?

This is the same type of conspiracy that goes on between the people who install soap dishes and shower heads in our bathrooms and the soap manufacturers. The shower spray always hits the soap eroding it away until all we have left is the little sharp piece that hurts when I try to use it. The CRTC has been bullied into allowing legislation to stop you from selling your services over the phone because there is no advertising revenue in it for the Radio and Television Industry. These same people will air anything today as long as you are willing to pay.

As of today, there is no legislation that stops you from sending marketing material via electronic mail, but that is coming too. My advice to you is PANIC! After you panic, get your list together and start sending email to the people who are looking for you on Google.
